A new partnership is putting accessibility front and center, and this time, it's happening at one of the most vibrant disability-led events in the country!
WAWABILITY is teaming up with ASL Now to offer live video support in American Sign Language (ASL), making it easier than ever for Deaf and hard of hearing community members to get the information they need ahead of the event this July.
WAWABILITY is an annual gathering that celebrates the voices, talents, and experiences of people with disabilities. Whether you’re attending, performing, or showcasing as a vendor, you know accessibility is a top priority. Thanks to ASL Now, Deaf and hard of hearing participants can connect directly with live ASL-fluent representatives over video for support before and during the event.
It’s easy! Just visit wawability2025.com and look for the ASL Now button in the bottom-right corner of your screen. Click to start a live video call with an ASL Now representative who’s ready to answer your questions in ASL. Prefer to type? There’s also a Text Chat button just below for support in English.
This partnership is about more than just access. It’s about bringing people with unique life experiences together. By working together, WAWABILITY and ASL Now are creating a more welcoming and informed experience for all attendees. Accessibility shouldn’t be an afterthought, and this collaboration helps make sure it isn’t.
We can’t wait to see you at WAWABILITY this July!
